Anthony Daniels: las precuelas fueron "Frías" y "Sombrías"

En una entrevista reciente con el periódico británico The Guardian, Anthony Daniels, conocido por todos nosotros los nerds por interpretar a C-3PO, nos contó sobre la experiencia de trabajar durante décadas en una Galaxia Muy, Muy, Lejana.

Sobre las diferencias entre George Lucas y el director de Star Wars: The Force Awakens, J.J. Abrams:

"George has changed a lot over the years but I think he finds it slightly hard to collaborate, He made decisions that I believe might have been better discussed with other people. JJ is more collaborative. He likes to listen."

En cuento a las precuelas, sus palabras no reflejan demasiado cariño a haber trabajado en ellas:

“The effects are clever but pointless. The skill is there, but so what? Coldness, that’s the word. Bleakness, even.” 

En cambio, en el set de la nueva cinta, las cosas son muy distintas:

 “It became clear early on that with JJ we were getting back to the old-fashioned kind of film-making. We have walls. Actual sets! All right, so you might not have a view out of the window, but you have a window."

Pero no todo es miel sobre hojuelas, en particular con la ridícula confidencialidad en la que está envuelta la filmación:

“The secrecy has been beyond ludicrous, For heaven’s sake, it’s a movie. When I got the script, it was typed in black on paper of the deepest red so you couldn’t photocopy it. I got a hangover just reading it.”  

La verdad, si el único problema que tiene la trilogía de secuelas es que son 'muy secretas', entonces creo que todos los fans de Star Wars nos vamos a dar por bien servidos.
